Praia, Cape Verde, 3 Jan – Cape Verde is due in February to sign for the second aid package from the United States Federal Government via the US institution Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the United States ambassador said in Cape Verde.
Ambassador Adrienne O’Neal provided the information last Friday after a meeting with Cape Verdean Prime Minister, José Maria Neves, during which they discussed bilateral cooperation.
Adrienne O’Neal confirmed that Cape Verde would receive US$66.2 million as part of the second aid package from the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA), which is US$43.8 million less than the first. (macauhub)
