International Labour Organization launches programme to support micro and small companies in Cape Verde

Praia, Cape Verde, 19 Dec – Germe (Better Manage Your Business), a project of the International Labour Organization that seeks to improve the performance of micro and small companies by providing them with information about management was launched in Cape Verde last week, the Cape Verdean press reported.

Present in over 80 countries – 18 of which are African – and translated into over 40 language, the Germe network provides training in management by bringing together professional organisations, non-governmental organisations, public services and financing and professional training institutions.

In Cape Verde the project will involve the Sotavento and Barlavento Commercial Associations, the National Directorate for Employment, the Employment and Professional Training Institute, some non-governmental organisations and City Councils. (macauhub)
