Lisbon, Portugal, 24 Nov – The 17th edition of the International Wine, Fish and Agri-Food Salon (Sisab), held in Lisbon from 27 to 29 February 2012, will be attended by at least 200 Angolan buyers, double the number of the previous year, one of the event’s organisers said.
Carlos Morais, chairman of Mundo Eventos, the company organising the fair, told Angolan news agency Angop that the 2012 edition would also be attended by over 170 Russian economic agents, 30 Japanese, 73 Chinese, several South Africans, 53 from Algeria, 73 from Morocco, 26 from the United Arab Emirates and 14 from Egypt.
Sisaba 2012 will be held in Lisbon and is internationally-recognised as the, “biggest annual meeting in Portugal specialised in the sale of Portuguese food products,” and will be attended by 400 of Portugal’s largest companies from 28 sectors.
Sisaba 2011 has seen a 32 percent increase in the number of national and international companies attending, thus exceeding its organiser’s initial expectations.
This growth has made it possible to consolidate Sisab, which is made up of the best selection of the most important Portuguese companies in the sectors of wine, non-alcoholic drinks, fish, livestock, milk products, sweets, fruit, vegetables and organic produce, amongst others. (macauhub)
