Cape Verde air carrier to acquire two Boeing 737s

Praia, Cape Verde, 22 Nov – Cape Verdean airline Transportes Aéreos de Cabo Verde, TACV, plans to renew and increase its fleet of aircraft with the acquisition in 2012 of two Boeing 737s, the Cape Verdean Prime Minister José Maria Neves said Monday in Praia.

During the presentation in parliament of the proposed law for the 2012 State Budget, the prime minister said that TACV would keep one Boeing 757, which according to the Cape Verdean press means the airline will no longer make use of the other Boeing 757 it has in its fleet.

Neves also gave assurances that in 2012 Cape Verde would have two more ships to provide inks between the islands of the archipelago, particularly those in the north. (macauhub)
