Portuguese group Mostratus invests US$25 million in water collection and bottling factory in Angola

Caxito, Angola, 25 Sept – Portuguese business group Mostratus has invested around US$25 million in installing a water collection and bottling factory in Mazozo, in Angola’s Bengo province, according to Angolan news agency Angop.

The factory, which went into production in the middle of this year, has the capacity to bottle 40,000 litres of water per hour.

The unit, known as Mosvipo, is responsible for the Cristalina brand of spring water, sold on the Angolan market and employs 45 workers.

Speaking to the press, the managing director of the Mostratus group, João Polery said that Mosvipo was able to bottle 12,000 1.5-litre bottles of spring water per hour and 4,500 5-litre bottles per hour.

“Our water is from a natural spring, it undergoes no treatment or change,” said the managing director.

The Mosvipo factory has a laboratory that ensures the quality of its products. (macauhub)
