Angola’s 1st International Oil fair takes place in November

Luanda, Angola, 28 April – Angola’s First International Oil Fair (FIPA) has been scheduled to take place next November, the legal manager for organizing company Expo-Angola, Matos Cardoso said Thursday.

Speaking to journalists during the opening of the First International Mining Fair, Cardoso reasoned that it was important to have a separate fair for oil, due to its specific characteristics, especially in terms of exploration methods and equipment used.

Specialists from the of African Petroleum Producers Association (APPA) are gathered this week in Luanda to prepare the organization’s 13th Ministerial Meeting, which will take place Friday.

Cardoso said that 10 fairs had been scheduled for this year, namely the Children’s Fair (June), Filda (July), Health Fair (August), Fenapro (September), Angola Motor Show (September), ConstroiAngola (October), Real Estate Fair (November) and the EME Fair EME (December). (macauhub)
